Synopsis On the opening night of the new play Romans on the March, a lover’s spat in the front row of the audience leads to a series of on-stage counseling sessions led by TV psychologist Dr. Jill who just happened to be in the audience. The doctor confronts the emotional needs of Wilbert and Netty who came to the theater on a date. This leads to on-stage interaction between the Roman soldiers, the audience members, and mighty Caesar himself who all do some soul-searching at the prompting of Dr. Jill. As the impromptu counseling continues to interrupt the opening of the play, the play’s director desperately plots to stop Dr. Jill from ruining his opening night by using any means possible to get her offstage for good.
