For a program with 5 CDs at the cost of nearly $130, I anticipated a significant portion of the program to be devoted to a review of medications and their use, proper dosage, mechanism of action, routes, adverse reactions, interactions with other drugs, etc. What I got was a monotone presentation which spent the first 3 CDs reviewing everything from the very basics of the metric system, presented at a grade school to junior high educational level, to the theory of evolution, with only the last two CDs actually addressing individual drugs, and that was accomplished with a number of significant mispronunciations.I passed the NCLEX just fine without access to this program, and wanted something to help review pharmacology while commuting in my car to work, or on runs, prior to revisiting the discipline in my NP program. I purchased it on the weight of the positive reviews it had. The last 2 CDs provide a passable review of some medications, but on the whole, this has been a waste of $130. I cannot in good conscience recommend this program to anyone. Picking up my BSN level pharmacology book to review would have been a better, and more effective use of my time, and would have cost nothing.

All good
But, there are few books that give the "How-to-do-Something" in a clear, step by step, easy to read manner. This review gives the learner the basics; clinicial applications, correct technical procedures, and the consequences of doing a certain procedure. Overall, its well written material!
This is information given in a disjointed fashion. I'm very disappointed with the way the content is presented and have found it to be of little or no use to me.
