I read this book in high school for an advanced English course. I loved it then so decided to revisit the book again. It's clunkier than I remember but I think that is from the slight changes to the book to accommodate events like 9/11 which have happened since this book was originally published (does that give you a clue to how long ago I read this book originally!). I would have preferred if it had remained the original but that is my personal preference. Overall it's still a good story.

Hard to put down
I never did understand the plot of this book. The drama was worth the read, though.
This was a great book. One of those books that you want to read straight through. I guess, if they made a movie, the name could not be the same as the title.
I loved this book from the beginning to the end. It is full of suspense from cover to cover. I will read his books again.
The fifth star denied because of too many too graphic scenes and too many unrealistic twists. Other than that a good read, A page turner. Interesting developpments of personal relationships.
I have never been unhappy with any book written by Thomas Block. He writes the kind of book you just can't put down. Each of his books have something to do with an airplane but each story is so unique you don't feel like your reading just another book about planes.
Best aviation-related novel I have read in years. Good story line and hard to put down once you're into it. Clearly one of Block's best.
Would make a great movie, but the title would have to be changed as most would assume it was a James Bond movie of the same name.
